Ithaca College School of Music presents a faculty recital by soprano Rachel Schutz and guest pianist Andrea Christie. Rachel and Andrea will present an evening of art song, featuring the world premiere of Jeff Myer’s Poe Songs alongside song cycles by Mansel Thomas, Harry T. Burleigh and Margaret Bonds. Composed for Rachel and Andrea in 2024, Jeff’s new Poe Songs will be featured on Myer’s upcoming art song album to be released in the next season.
